Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel.
The only prayer pressed by the learned counsel for the petitioner reads thus:
"Issue a writ order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to decide the appeal dated 23.01.2018 along with the stay application in pursuance of the order dated 30.12.2017 passed by the District Supply Officer, Kanpur Dehat, expeditiously in accordance with law, within some stipulated time frame as fixed by this Hon'ble Court."
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petition stands disposed of directing the second respondent-Additional Commissioner, Kanpur Division, Kanpur, to expedite the proceedings of the aforesaid case and conclude the same, at the earliest possible, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law, provided there is no legal impediment.
