The grievance of the petitioners is that their land is being utilized and the soil from the land is also being extracted for the purposes of construction of road without either acquiring the land of the petitioners or paying them any compensation.
Considering the nature of the prayer made in this petition, we deem it appropriate to dispose off this petition by giving liberty to the petitioners to make a comprehensive representation before the second respondent (District Magistrate, Prayagraj) ventilating their grievances. If any such representation is filed along with certified copy of this order, the second respondent shall address the same and pass a reasoned order after calling for report from the concerned authority, preferably, within a period of next four weeks.
