JUDGMENT / ORDER

Ashok Bhushan, Ag. C.J. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned State Attorney.
2. By this writ petition filed as a public interest litigation, the petitioner has prayed for a direction commanding respondents 1 to 4 not to open the Chandapura Kottappuram bye-pass for road traffic till the completion of the construction of service roads in pursuance of Ext. P3 and further direction to repair suitably the service road on either side of the bye-pass.
3. The matter was heard on 17th October, 2014 and this Court noted that sanction for construction has already been granted and tenders have already been invited and process shall be completed by 15.11.2014. When the matter was taken up today, the learned State Attorney submitted that work has already been started on 28.10.2014 and the same is to be completed within 18 months. The grievance of the petitioner is with regard to service road. It is admitted that the work had already been awarded, we see no reason to give any direction in this writ petition. As submitted by the respondent, the work is to be completed within 18 months.
W.P (C) No. 23790 of 2014 -: 2 :-
Noticing the aforesaid submission made by the learned State Attorney, we close this writ petition.
