This writ petition has been filed for a direction upon the respondents to regularize the services of petitioner. Petitioner claims to be an employee of respondent no.3, which is an aided recognized Intermediate institution. It is alleged that petitioner is working since 2003.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has not been able to place any rules for regularization, whereunder petitioner's claim for regularization is covered. In such circumstances, no direction can be issued to regularize the services of petitioner, in view of the law laid down by the Apex Court in State of Karnataka Vs. Smt. Uma Devi, 2006(4) SCC 1.
So far as payment of minimum wages is concerned, it shall be open for the petitioner to represent his grievance before the competent authority, who shall examine such claim, in accordance with law.
Subject to the observations made above, this writ petition is consigned to records.
