THIS PETITION COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING IN ‘B’ GROUP, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER 1. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Counsel for respondents 1 & 2 and 3.
2. Petitioner claims to be the wife of deceased employee one Rudramurthy. Respondent No.3 is said to be claiming that she is the wife of the said deceased Rudramurthy.
3. Learned Counsel for the respondent-Corporation submits that in fact the name of respondent No.3 and the mother of the deceased have been entered in the service records as beneficiaries.
4. Learned Counsel for respondent No.3 has placed on record the order dated 02.03.2019 passed in P & SC No.2/2018, whereby respondent No.3 herein has been declared as the lawful successor to the estate of late Rudramurthy. It is submitted by the learned Counsel for respondent No.3 that the said order has become final.
5. Be that as it may, respondent No.1 being a statutory authority was duty bound to consider and dispose off the representations received by it as at Annexures-A & B. In that view of the matter, petition is disposed off with a direction to respondent No.1 to consider and dispose off Annexures-A & B, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within an outer limit of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
