JUDGMENT / ORDER

Petitioners on the strength of Ext.P1 building permit for constructing residential building want to extract ordinary sand from the site covered by Ext.P1.
2. In view of the Government order, no permit is required for extracting ordinary sand. However, for the purpose of transporting sand, 'P'-form is necessary. Therefore, the Geologist shall issue necessary 'P'-form on being satisfied with the genuineness of the claim of the petitioners based on Ext.P1 without insisting for No Objection Certificate. Needful shall be done within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment. If the petitioners fail to construct this building, the Geologist is free to take appropriate action against the petitioners in accordance with law.
The Writ Petition is disposed of.
