The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to grant fresh patta to the petitioner for the property admeasuring 57 feet East to West and 45 Feet North to South out of 4.46 acres comprised in Survey No.68/1, Gramanatham, Kuppanthangal Village, Kozhendhanpet, Tandarampet Taluk and Thiruvannamalai District on the strength of registered Partition Deed dated 01.09.1966 on the file of the Sub Registrar Office, Kozhundampet after cancelling the patta granted to the respondents 4 & 5.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 17.04.2017 given to the respondents for issuance of fresh patta, the respondents have not issued the same yet.

Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the petitioner has given the representation only to the 1st respondent and that he may be directed to give a representation to the 3rd respondent and the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 4 & 5.

Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the petitioner to give a fresh representation to the 3rd respondent within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation in accordance with law, after giving notice to the respondents 4 & 5, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the representation from the petitioner.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
