ORDER
This civil revision petition has been filed to issue necessary direction to the Subordinate Judge at Ponneri to pass orders to dispose RCA No.6 of 2015 within three months.
2. According to the respondent, the revision petitioner has filed the RCOP No.26 of 2010 for eviction on the ground of owner's occupation. The Rent Control authority passed an order granting three months time to evict and hand over the possession. The petitioner has filed an appeal in R.C.No.6 of 2015 and the same is now pending before the Sub Court, Ponneri. According to the petitioner, the respondent has filed several petitions to drag on the matter. The petitioner being the senior citizen aged about 72 years and also suffer from ilness, the petitioner having no house premises other than the suit scheduled property, has filed the present civil revision petition before this Court with a prayer to dispose the appeal within the time framed by this Court.
In view of the limited scope of prayer sought in this petition, without going into the merits of the case, taking into consideration the fact that the petitioner is a senior citizen and that the matter has been pending for quite a long period, the Sub Judge, Ponneri is directed to dispose of the appeal in R.C.A.No.6 of 2015 on merits and in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible by considering the statement made by the petitioner.
With the above direction, this civil revision petition is disposed of. No costs.
