JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 26.11.2016 and to revoke the suspension order passed by him against the petitioner, dated 19.09.2016 in P2/35567/2016 within the stipulated time.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent.
3. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
4. Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer in the Writ petition, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:-
?The respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 26.11.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.?
