Respondent (By Sri. B.P.Puttasiddaiah, Adv.) This Criminal Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., praying to set aside the order dated 23.02.2012 in C.C.No.28/2012 on the file of the Special Court (Economic Offences), Bengaluru, as not maintainable.
This Criminal Petition coming on for Admission this day, the Court made the following:
ORDER Heard learned counsel for the petitioner.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that on account of the petitioner being a member of the State Legislature, the case has been transferred to the Special Court wherein, the present stage is for recording of evidence before framing charges.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant petition may be disposed of keeping all the contentions open and to confront the witnesses the same.
4. The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is placed on record.
Accordingly, this criminal petition stands disposed of.
