O RD E R ********* This Contempt petition has been filed to punish the respondent for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court made in W.P.(MD)No.6815of 2017 order dated 04.10.2017.

2.Today, when the Contempt Petition came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in compliance with the oder of this Court, the petitioner's representation dated 23.01.2017 was considered by the respondent herein and accordingly, the respondent has passed an order on 10.05.2018 in his proceedings in Moo.Mu.A1/2986/2017 rejecting the petitioner's application stating that the petitioner has not produced any relevant documents regarding his claim and he has also stated that if the petitioner is aggrieved, he can file an appeal within 30 days before the District Revenue Officer. Hence, the petitioner seeks liberty to file an appeal before the District Revenue Officer.
3.Accordingly, this Contempt petition closed with liberty to the petitioner to file an appeal before the District Revenue Officer, Virudhunagar District.
