For Petitioner : Mr.D.Ramesh Kumar For Respondents : Ms.K.Bhuvaneswari Government Advocate O R D E R The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to cancel the sub divisions made in survey No.38/1A as 38/1A1 to 38/1A11 for the land owned and possessed by him measuring an extent of 0.6.50 Hectare comprised in Survey Nos.38/1A situated at Jackasamuthiram Panchayat, J.Bandarahalli Village, Karimangalam Taluk, Dharmapuri District and dispose of his representations dated 09.08.2016 and 07.12.2016 respectively.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that as against the sub division made by the 4th respondent the petitioner has given representations dated 09.08.2016 and 07.12.2016 to the 3rd respondent, however, the 3rd respondent has not passed any orders, so far.

Ms.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to treat the representations given by the petitioner as appeal and may be directed to dispose of the same, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to treat the representations given by the petitioner as appeal and decide the same, on merits in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
