Heard Sri Kushmondeya Shahi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the respondent nos. 1 and 2.
The petitioner in the writ petition is seeking a direction to respondent no.3, District Basic Education Officer, Etawah to grant permission for making appointment on the post of Head Master and one Assistant Teacher in Maharana Pratap Junior High School, Shahkamar, District Etawah.
It is stated that the Committee of Management had made a representation dated 18.03.2016 before respondent no.3 for filling up the vacant posts a copy of which has been filed as Annexure-3 to the writ petition.
It is further stated that due to non availability of head master and one assistant teacher, the petitioner's institution is facing great hardship but till date no order has been passed in this regard.
No useful purpose would be served in keeping the petition pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondent no.3 District Basic Education Officer, Etawah to decide the petitioner's representation dated 18.3.2016 in accordance with law, expeditiously preferably within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order in his office.
It is made clear that the court has not adjudicated the claim of the petitioner on merit.
