The petitioners claim to be Committee of Management of Town Polytechnic institution which is under the jurisdiction of the Director, Technical Education, U.P., Vikas Nagar, Kanpur. Certain vacancy arose in the institution on the post of Lecturer which was required to be filled. An advertisement was issued, but before final selection could be made certain qualifications have been changed by Government Notification dated 1.3.2019. Therefore, it is submitted that a corrigendum has to be published indicating the change in qualification for selection of Lecturer in the institution, for which an application is pending before the Director which has not been considered so far.
The writ petition is disposed of with the direction to the Director-respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner and pass appropriate order in accordance with law, as far as possible, within two months from the date a certified copy of this order is presented before it.
