Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Standing Counsel.
Petitioners approached this Court earlier by filing a Writ Petition No.61454 of 2006. The same was finally disposed of on 08.04.2010 directing the competent authority to decide the controversy within three months. Petitioners submit that now a fresh list has been submitted before the Registrar and he is considering the same.
I have considered the submissions made on behalf of the parties. In case the fresh list, as alleged by the petitioners, has been filed, as the matter is sub judice before the competent authority on the basis of direction issued by this Court, petitioners can raise their grievances before the same authority. As the petitioners submit that they have already filed an objection, therefore, it will be appropriate that the objection filed by the petitioners may be considered by the competent authority according to law.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
No order as to costs.
