Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2-Board of High School & Intermediate Education, U.P. at Allahabad to decide the claim of the petitioner contained in representation dated 18.11.2019 for being allotment of Examination Centre to the petitioner's institution for conducting U.P. Board High School & Intermediate Examination for the year 2020.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that earlier in the examination centres list the name of petitioner's institution was included as one of the examination centres but without assigning any rhyme or reason, all of sudden petitioner's institution has been excluded from the said list. According to the learned counsel, even no order has been passed by the competent authority to the above effect. It is further contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner has filed a representation dated 18.11.2019, copy of the same has been appended as annexure-4, page no.32 to the writ petition, which remain undecided by the respondent no.2- Board of High School & Intermediate Education, U.P. at Allahabad.
Under these circumstances, respondent no.2-Board of High School & Intermediate Education, U.P. at Allahabad is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2019 and decide the same as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands disposed of.
