In compliance of the order passed by this Court dated 20.11.2018 the petitioner has filed a supplementary affidavit. The supplementary affidavit be taken on record.
The instant writ petition is filed by the petitioner with a prayer to issue a mandamus directing the Assistant Registrar, Firms Societies and Chits, Varanasi Region, Varanasi, respondent no.2 to take a decision for renewal for petitioner's society as claimed w.e.f. 9.10.2005.
In this regard the petitioner claimed that an application dated 17.10.2018 is filed and is pending before the respondent no.2.
With the consent of the parties, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondent no.2 to decide the petitioner's application dated 17.10.2018 in accordance with law expeditiously, if possible within a period of two months from the date a certified copy of this order is placed/filed before respondent no.2.
