Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the authorized controller has finalized the list of electoral college and has also published the schedule of the election which has been published in the newspaper on 13.1.2012 to hold the election on 22.1.2012. Now by the order dated 16.1.2012 he has postponed the election without fixing any further date of the election on the ground of the general election of the State of U.P.

Learned counsel for the petitioners is directed to bring the facts stated above on record by way of supplementary affidavit.
