The instant writ petition has been filed seeking a direction commanding respondent no.3 to forward the required report and documents to respondent no.1 with further direction to respondent no.1 to take final decision in the matter relating to grant of affiliation to the petitioner institution for running D.El.Ed. course.
Learned standing counsel, on instructions, states that academic year 2016-17 in respect of which application was filed for grant of affiliation being over, it would not be possible to consider the request. He submitted that in case fresh application is filed by the petitioner institution, the same would be considered by the respondents.
Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the petitioners will file a fresh application.
Accordingly, the instant writ petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh application, and in which event, the same shall be considered by the respondents in accordance with law.
