The applicant is before this Court for a direction to initiate contempt proceeding against the opposite party for wilful disobedience of the order dated 26.08.2020 passed in Writ A No.5646 of 2020. The operative portion of the order is reproduced hereibelow :-
"Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and perused the material on record.
The present petition has been filed with a limited prayer that the appointments made by the Committee of Management to the post of Assistant Clerks were forwarded for financial approval on 24.11.2019 along with all the records pertaining to the appointments made, however, no decision has been taken thereupon by the District Inspector of Schools, Allahabad.
Considering the limited submission made at the bar, the writ petition is disposed off with the direction by the District Inspector of Schools, Allahabad-respondent no.3 to take a final decision in respect of the final approval for the appointments made and forwarded on 24.11.2019 expeditiously, preferably within a period of four months from the date of production of a copy of the order downloaded from official website of this High Court which shall be treated to be a certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed off in terms of the above said order."
Today when the matter is taken up, it is informed by learned counsel for the applicant that the order passed by the writ court has already been complied with, therefore, no cause of action remained survive and prays that the present application be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the same, the present contempt application is dismissed as infructuous.
