Heard Sri Seemant Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the record.
Petitioner submitted an application for grant of recognition as an English Medium pre-primary school to primary school. However, the recognition was granted to the petitioner as a Hindi Medium institution by order dated 11.01.2018.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this writ petition pending.
It is open to the petitioner to make a fresh application before the respondent authorities. The respondent authorities shall consider the application and undertake the exercise of due diligence to ascertain whether the petitioner institution satisfies the criteria for being recognised as an English Medium institution from pre-primary to primary school or not.
After the aforesaid exercise the authorities shall pass a reasoned and speaking order on the claim of the petitioner institution for grant of recognition as an English Medium institution from pre- primary school to primary school. The exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with fresh copy of representation.
The writ petition is disposed of.
