Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the counsel for respondent nos. 2 and 3.
The submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that the college of the Committee of Management was affiliated to Chhatrapati Sahuji Maharaj University, Kanpur. The petitioner has sent for approval of Committee to recruit the Principal and after selection, the documents were sent to the opposite party no.2 - University on 24.05.2017, but no decision has been taken in respect of the approval on the post of Principal by the University uptill now. Enough time has been passed and it appears that the College is suffering on account of non appointment of the Principal.
In the aforesaid circumstances, the University is directed to take a decision in respect of approval on the post of Principal within a period of one month.
The petitioner further submitted that he is also required to deposit the amount in respect of renewal of affiliation, as the amount has to be deposited before 10.03.2018. In case the amount is not deposited before that date, the right of petitioner will come to an end.
In these circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to deposit the renewal amount before 10.03.2018.
List after expiry of one month.
