Heard learned counsel for the parties.
The petitioner is aggrieved against the order of District Basic Education Officer, Bijnor dated 3rd November, 2018 whereby the respondent had directed to the petitioner to hold the selection in respect of the Assistant Teacher (Hindi) pursuant to the permission granted to the institution on 12th October, 2018 on account of retirement of Hindi teacher. The petitioner filed an objection to the District Basic Education Officer that there is one teacher of mathematics, however, from the pleadings that has come to be raised and the argument advanced, the petitioner does not dispute that a science teacher is having qualification of B.S.C. with Physics, Chemistry and Math.
In the opinion of the Court, the teacher of Science can very well teach Mathematics at elementary level. I, accordingly, do not find any error much less a legal one in the order passed by the District Basic Education Officer, Bijnor dated 13th November, 2018.
The writ petition lacks merit and is, accordingly, dismissed.
