Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel.
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2-Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Allahabad, U.P. to consider the allotment of petitioner's institution as examination centre for Examination 2020.
The contention of learned counsel for the petitioner is that for the last year, the petitioner's institution was the examination centre for conducting the board examination and in the tentative list issued by the respondent no.2, name of the petitioner's institution found place but in the final approval list dated 11.11.2019, the institution could not find place. It is further submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the institution fulfils all the criteria as laid down in the government order dated 16.10.2019 and has filed his objection/representation on 18.11.2019 before the District Level Committee but has not filed any objection against the final list published on 30.11.2019..
Under these circumstances, the petitioner is directed to file representation before the respondent no.2-Secretary, Board of Secondary Education, Allahabad, U.P. within a period of a week from today alongwith certified copy of this order. In case, any such representation is filed the respondent no.2 is directed to decide the same, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks from the date of its presentation.
Writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
