The following order was passed in the matter on 27.10.2016:
"It is stated that although petitioner's claim for recognition was initially rejected but upon a review filed by the petitioner, authorities proceeded to grant recognition for running B. Ed. Course for one unit ( 50 students) for the academic Sessions 2016-2017 vide decision taken in the 250th meeting dated 1.3.2016. Submission is that petitioner institution thereafter has admitted students and without any subsequent opportunity, the respondents have proceeded to delete the recognition order. Submission is that the order is in teeth of the provisions of the Act and is otherwise violative of principles of natural justice.
Sri Ravi Agrawal, who has accepted notice on behalf of NCTE may obtain instructions in the matter.

On the basis of instructions obtained, learned counsel for the NCTE, states that merely a letter of intent was issued to the petitioner and no recognition order was actually passed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner invites attention of the Court to the impugned order which categorically refers of the recognition order dated 3rd March, 2016.
Prima facie, this Court finds that stand taken by the respondent is contrary to his own records.

Let the relevant records including the order dated 3.3.2016 be produced before the Court on 15.11.2016.
