1. Heard the learned counsel for petitioners, Shri Arun Kumar and Shri Niyaz Ahmad Khan who appears for the Respondent No. 3.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the Respondent No. 3 has pointed out that the elections have been notified in pursuance of the impugned order and he has produced a copy of the Election Programme dated 14th of August, 2018 issued by Election Officer concerned.
3. A Division Bench of this Court in Special Appeal No. 246 of 2013 decided on 25.09.2014 along with other Special Appeals has observed that in all such cases where Election Programme has been notified writ petition should ordinarily not be entertained in view of the law settled by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in the case of Lakshmi Charan Sen Vs. A.K.M. Hassan Uzzaman, (1985) 4 SCC 689.
4. This writ petition is dismissed leaving it open for the petitioner to raise any grievance that he has after such election is conducted before the appropriate Forum.
