Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel and Sri Shivam Yadav who appears for the Basic Education Officer.
The selection undertaken by the petitioner for appointment of Headmistress was approved by the Basic Education Officer on 12 September 2019. It is however asserted that the first selected candidate did not join as a consequence of which the Management offered the post to Smt. Sonia Tomar who stood empanelled at serial No. 2. Although papers for approval of her appointment were forwarded to the Basic Education Officer, no final decision has been taken in that regard till date.
Sri Shivam Yadav learned counsel representing the second respondent states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being kept open, the prayer as made by the petitioner here shall be duly attended to and a final decision communicated with expedition and preferably within a period of one month from the date of presentation of a duly authenticated copy of this order.
The petition stands disposed of in light of the statement recorded and accepted above.
