The petitioner-institution namely Shri Bhojraj Memorial Junior High School, Misauli, Block Jalesar, District Etah which imparts education to students of Classes VI to VIII is a recognised institution. This institution is, however, not given grant-in-aid from the Government. In this regard, the petitioners moved a representation to the Secretary, Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow on 15.7.2019 and based their representation upon decisions of this Court dated 3.11.2017 and 23.5.2019 passed in Writ-C No.17883 of 2008 and Writ-A No.38992 of 2017 respectively.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending. A direction is, therefore, being issued to the Secretary, Basic Education, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow to decide the representation filed by the petitioners on 15.7.2019 within a period of two months from the date of presentation of a copy of this order. The copy of this order shall be duly certified by the learned counsel for the petitioners.
The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of.
