Heard Sri Anil Tiwari, learned counsel assisted by Sri Dharmendra Pratap Singh, learned counsel for the petitioner.
The petitioner has applied for recognition of NCTE for B.Ed. course.
The only prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner is that the aforesaid application may be decided within a stipulated period of time.
Sri Dhananjay Awasthi, learned counsel for the respondents does not have any serious objection to the aforesaid prayer.
Matter is remitted to respondent no. 3, Regional Director, Northern Regional Committee, National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. A writ of mandamus is issued commanding respondent no. 3, to decide the application of the petitioner, for recognition of B.Ed. course within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. The application shall be decided by a reasoned and speaking order in accordance with law.
The writ petition is disposed of.
