The petitioner assails in the present petition the order dated 16.9.2010 whereby an application for grant-in-aid has been rejected.
The counsel for the petitioner states that no opportunity of hearing was granted prior to the order being passed. The counsel for the petitioner has also brought in the knowledge of the Court an order passed in similar facts and circumstances of the case in Writ-C No. 2678 of 2014 whereby the Hon'ble Court has remitted the matter to the State Government to pass a fresh order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.
The present petition is also being disposed of on the similar ground with a direction to the State Government to pass a fresh order after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with the rules which are prevailing at present.
