JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to consider his application dated 22.05.2012 and transfer the revenue records in respect of property in old S.No.491/2, New S.No.775/9, Kattarampakkam village, Sriperumbudur taluk, Kanchipuram District.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that, in spite of the petitioner's application dated 22.05.2012 for transferring the name in the revenue records, the second respondent has not passed any order so far.
3. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate taking notice for the respondents submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's application and pass orders in accordance with law.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 22.05.2012 seeking for transfer of name in the revenue records in accordance with law within four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
Consequently, connected Miscellaneous petitions is closed. No costs.
