JUDGMENT / ORDER

Civil Revision Petition has been filed by the petitioner, aggrieved to the long pendency in I.A.No.494 of 2015. The petitioner has come out to the Court for an earlier disposal of the same.
2. From the perusal of the record, It is seen that the matter was taken on the file on 05.12.2013. Thereafter, it was periodically adjourned for filling written statement till 07.07.2015, As many as 16 Adjournments were granted for filing the written Statement alone. It is stated that the defendant has not filed any written statement till date. On 07.07.2015 filed an I.A. 494 of 2015 for rejecting the plaint under Order VII Rule 11. The said I.A.No.494 of 2015 is still pending without any disposal. The last hearing date is mentioned as 16.06.2017 under the Caption "I.A pending". It is surprising to note that two years has passed after filing an Interlocutory application.
3. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court is of the considered opinion that direction to be issued to the trial court for disposal of the I.A.No.494 of 2015 as well as the suit in an expeditious manner. Accordingly, the II Additional District Munsif, Pondicherry is directed to dispose of I.A.No.494 of 2015 within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
