Heard Shri Shyam Lal, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Standing Counsel on behalf o respondent no. 1 and Shri Ravindra Singh, learned counsel for respondents no. 2 o 9.
Petitioner is permitted to correct the title of respondent no. 2 to read as Cane Commissioner/Chairman State Cane Services Authority, U.P., Lucknow, during the course of the day.
Petitioner, in this petition, is seeking a direction to the respondents to pay his retiral dues of Rs. 2,89,410/- as medical arrears, arrears of 5th Pay Commission as well as Provident Fund amount along with interest.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping the present petition pending.
This writ petition is, therefore, disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2 (Cane Commissioner/Chairman State Cane Services Authority, U.P., Lucknow), to examine the matter and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order in his office.
