Madras High Court|27 November, 2017

JUDGMENT / ORDER

By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.
2. Mr.M.Alagathevan, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject mentioned property belongs to him and his grievance is that the sub division number was wrongly mentioned in the patta, issued to him. In order to rectify the mistake crept- in, the petitioner has submitted a representation dated 04.06.2015, before the first respondent and as the same is kept pending, without any action, he is before this Court, for the aforesaid relief.
4. It is seen that the petitioner has submitted his representation in the year 2015 and it is not known to the petitioner whether such a claim still subsists due to passage of time.
5. Under such circumstances, this Court, without going into the merits of the petitioner's claim, directs the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 04.06.2015 and pass appropriate orders, if not already passed, on its own merit and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all the interested parties, if any, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
