JUDGMENT / ORDER

Though the prayer sought for in the present petition is for quashing the investigation in Crime No. 156 of 2013, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that he would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondent to file a final report within the stipulated time. Taking into account of the fact that the investigation is pending from the year 2013 onwards, there shall be a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in Crime No. 156 of 2013 pending on his file and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
