This Writ Petition has been filed seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the third respondent to extend the lease period of the Petitioner for fishing rights in respect of Vettuvankulam Kanmoi, Jeyamangalam Village, Periyakulam, Theni District by one more year (i.e., 2017-2018) by adjusting the lease amount paid by the Petitioner for the year 2016-2017.
2.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, the main Writ Petition is taken up for disposal, at the admission stage itself.
4.Mr.D.Muruganandam, learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents submitted that the representation of the Petitioner, dated 24.2.2017 was already considered by the third respondent and it was rejected by order dated 9.5.2017, which is also communicated to the Petitioner. A copy of the said order is also furnished to the learned counsel for the Petitioner.
5.In view of the above submission, this Writ Petition is closed, giving liberty to the Petitioner to challenge the above said order, in the manner known to law. No costs.
