Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Satya Prakash, learned Standing Counsel for the State respondents.
Petitioner has applied in the prescribed format before the District Magistrate, who is the Chairman of the District Level Committee to determine the threat perception as to whether or not security is to be provided, on 28.05.2018 (Annexure 5 to the petition).
Limited relief pressed for is for an appropriate direction to the District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar to examine the request of the petitioner, referred to above, expeditiously within a fixed time frame otherwise the petitioner may suffer irreparably as there is serious threat not only to the petitioner but also to his family members. Necessary facts, according to the learned counsel for the petitioner have been disclosed in the application referred to above.
Considering the facts and circumstance of the case we dispose of this petition with a direction to the respondent no.3 District Magistrate, Gautam Budh Nagar to get the matter enquired into and take an appropriate decision strictly in accordance to law within a period of four weeks from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
