JUDGMENT / ORDER

Court No. - 30
Case :- MATTERS UNDER ARTICLE 227 No. - 4717 of 2019 Petitioner :- Brijanedra Mishra Respondent :- Principal Judge Family Court Varanasi And Another Counsel for Petitioner :- Ashok Kumar Srivastava
Hon'ble Vivek Kumar Birla,J.
The sole relief claimed in the instant petition is for issuing a direction to the respondent no. 1 to decide Case No. 480 of 2016 (Brijendra Mishra vs. Amita Mishra) expeditiously, within a time bound manner.
However, Section 21-B of the Hindu Marriage Act, 1955 specifically provides that all proceedings under the Act should be held on a day to day basis and effort should be made to conclude the proceedings as far as possible within six months from the date of service of the petition on the respondent.
In view of the aforesaid provisions under the Act, I am of the opinion that no further direction is required.
The petition is accordingly disposed of.
