Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
Present petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent no. 2 to decide Case No. T201902030802114 of 2019, Brij Nandan Vs. Gomati Devi and others under Section 116 of U.P. Rajasva Sanhita, Village Dari, Tappa Kohrar, Pargana Khairgarh, Tehsil Meja, district Allahabad filed as Annexure 1 to the writ petition, as early as possible if possible within a stipulated period.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent no. 2, the Deputy Collector, Meja, Allahabad to expedite the hearing of the aforesaid case and decide the same, in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of nine months, provided there is no other legal impediment and provided that the functioning of the Court is not affected due to COVID-19 Pandemic.
With the aforesaid observations/directions, present petition is finally disposed of.
