List is being revised. Nobody is present on behalf of the petitioners to press the present writ petition.
By means of present writ petition, the petitioners have sought following reliefs:
"1. To issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned order dated 18.12006 passed by the respondent no. 4, Executive Engineer Provincial division Public Works Department Allahabad (Annexure No. 22) to the writ petition.
2. To issue a writ, or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents not to recover the any amount from the petitioners in compliance of the order dated 18.01.2006 passed by Executive Engineer Provincial Division Public Works Department Allahabad.
3. To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to make the payment of salaries and other emoluments regularly month to month to the petitioners as is being paid in compliance of the order dated 11.4.2005."
I have examined the order impugned, pleadings and grounds raised in the writ petition and have perused the records. The writ petition is of the year 2006 and it appears that either writ petition is rendered infructuous due to efflux of time or petitioners are no more interested in pursuing the writ petition.
The writ petition is accordingly dismissed. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.
