1. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Shri Saheb Tiwari appearing for the Respondent Bank.
2. The petitioner is son of late Shri Satya Prakash Sharma who was working on the post of senior driver attached with the Deoria Branch of Central Bank of India. The father of petitioner died in harness on 08.05.2014 after rendering more than 31 years of service.
3. The petitioner filed an application for grant of compassionate appointment which has remained pending before the respondents for the last several months. A copy of the application along with the reminders has been filed as Annexure -6 to the writ petition.
4. Shri Saheb Tiwari has pointed out that petitioner's father died in May, 2014. The application moved by the petitioner was only on 10.07.2018 allegedly after four years. In Annexure - 6 the copies of such applications/representations have been filed. They do not carry any date.
5. The learned counsel for the petitioner in rejoinder says that the application clearly shows the date which is 26.03.2018. A copy of the postal receipt as evidence of posting the such application has been affixed on the said application.
6. Be that as it may, this Court without entering into the merits of the controversy disposes off this writ petition with a direction to the Competent Authority to look into the matter and pass appropriate orders strictly in accordance with law within a period of 12 weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is produced before him.
