Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel.
The petitioner has prayed for a mandamus to be issued to respondent no. 2 to consider the claim of the petitioner for grant of benefits arising out of first and second Assured Career Progression as per the Government Order dated 05.11.2014.
The petitioner has already made a representation in this regard to the Director Local Bodies which is pending disposal.
Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of, without entering into the merits of the controversy, with a direction to the respondent no. 2 (Director Local Bodies, U.P. at Lucknow) to consider and decide the representation made by the petitioner strictly in accordance with law by means of a reasoned and speaking order within a period of eight weeks from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
