Brady vs Asst

High Court Of Gujarat|14 June, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

On 10.05.2012, this Court (Coram: K.S. Jhaveri, J.) while issuing Rule, observed that the assessment was not made by then. After the same was done, the petitioner shall deposit the assessed amount with the Registry of this Court within a period of four weeks from the date of service of the order of assessment upon the petitioner.
The office has put up a note under the impression that assessment would have been over and amount is not deposited.
When the matter is called out today, learned advocates appearing for both the sides i.e learned advocate for authority and learned advocate for petitioner have submitted that the assessment is yet not over. As the assessment itself is not over, the amount is not deposited with the registry. In view of this, it is expected of the authority to assess and issue an assessment order as expeditious as possible preferably on or before 04.07.2012.
Registry is directed to furnish copy of this order to learned advocate for the authority for its onward transmission for compliance.
