JUDGMENT / ORDER

Challenging the impugned order dated 07.02.2017 passed by the third respondent and seeking a direction to the third respondent to restore the agricultural service connection bearing S.C.No.136 at Survey No.222/12, Edapattu Village, Melmalayanur Taluk (then Gingee Taluk), Villupuram District  604 201, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents.
3.Though the writ petition has been filed, challenging the order impugned, by which electricity service connection was disconnected, pursuant to the order passed by the Civil Court, which ended before this Court, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has now made a submission that the said service connection can be shifted to his own well at Survey No.222/12.
4.Considering the said submission, this Court is of the view that it would be open to the petitioner to make a representation/application in this regard to the third respondent. On receipt of such representation/application, the third respondent shall pass appropriate orders on the same within a period of four weeks thereafter. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
