… RESPONDENTS This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to direct the respondent to consider Annex-A the application dated 28.7.2015 and to pass appropriate order within a specified period & etc.
This Writ Petition coming on for preliminary hearing in ‘B’ group this day, the Court made the following:-
ORDER Sri.T.A.Karumbaiah, learned counsel for the petitioner.
Sri.Y.D.Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for the respondents.
2. In this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs:
“i) issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to consider Annexure-A the application dated 28.7.2015 and to pass appropriate order within a specified period.
ii) issue any other writ, order or direction as this Hon’ble Court deems fit in the circumstances of the case in the interest of justice and equity.”
3. When the matter was taken up today, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner be granted liberty to submit a fresh representation with regard to his grievance to the competent authority of the respondents and the aforesaid authority be directed to consider and decide the representation submitted by the petitioner in accordance with law.
4. In view of the aforesaid submissions and in the facts of the case, the petition is disposed of with liberty to the petitioner that in case the petitioner files a representation before the competent authority within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order passed today, the aforesaid authority shall decide the representation submitted by the petitioner by a speaking order within a period of two weeks therefrom. It is made clear that this Court does not express any opinion with regard to the merits of the claim of the petitioner.
