Heard Sri Arvind Agrawal, learned Counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for respondent nos.1 and 2.
Present petition has been filed for the following relief :-
"i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to decide the matter regarding affiliation of the petitioner as D- Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) College which is pending since 15.02.2019 and also regarding issuance of N.O.C.
ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to take immediate steps for passing orders regarding affiliation of the petitioner, otherwise the approval granted in favour of petitioner by both statutory authorities i.e. AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and 18.4.2019 passed by P.C.I. (Pharmacy Council of India) shall be frustrated."
Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that his application regarding affiliation of D-Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy) is pending consideration before respondent no.2 since 15.2.2019. He further submits that on 10.6.2019, petitioner has got approval for the year 2019-20 and, thereafter, he had moved a representation on 17.6.2019, which is also pending. It is further submitted that the academic session is going to start from 30.6.2019.
In view of the above, respondent no.2 is directed to decide the application of the petitioner which is pending consideration since 15.2.2019, expeditiously, preferably within a period of one months from the date of production of certified copy of this order.
