Petitioner's vehicle bearing registration No.KL-32/B 3634 has been seized alleging contrabands in violation of the Kerala Minor Mineral Concession Rules 1967. Petitioner expressed his willingness to compound the offence. 2. In view of the above, there shall be a direction to the 3rd respondent to release the vehicle on payment of ₹ 25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only). On payment of the above amount the vehicle shall be released to the petitioner within three days. If any crime is registered against the petitioner, the 2nd and 3rd respondents are directed to file necessary report before the competent jurisdictional Magistrate Court regarding the compounding of the offence. Necessary action shall be taken by the authorities concerned to release the -2-
