Petitioner’s property has been included in the data bank prepared by the Local Level Monitoring Committee as paddy land. The petitioner has filed an application Ext.P3 before the 2nd respondent for change of entry in the data bank particulars. A separate application is also filed as Ext.P2 before the 1st respondent, the Revenue Divisional Officer under Clause 6 of the Kerala Land Utilisation Order 1967 for conversion of the said land for other purposes. The complaint of the petitioner is that despite filing the same, no action has been taken so far.
2. Heard learned Government Pleader and the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.
3. Having regard to the nature of contentions raised, I am of the view that the writ petition can be disposed of as under:
W.P.C.No.13440/2014 2 That the 2nd respondent shall consider Ext.P3 and pass appropriate orders within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment after complying with the procedure prescribed and thereafter it shall be open for the petitioner to approach the 1st respondent for appropriate directions under the Kerala Land Utilisation Order, 1967.
