Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The grievance of the petitioner is that insurance claim under the "Mukhyamantri Kisan Evam Sarvhit Beema Yojna" had arbitrarily been rejected by respondent no.4 on 4.3.2020, the Insurance Company.
Learned Standing Counsel submits that the petitioner has a remedy of filing application before District Level Committee headed by District Magistrate against the rejection of her claim and if such an application is filed by the petitioner, then appropriate decision shall be taken by the District Level Committee within time bound period.
In view of the aforesaid and without expressing any opinion on merits of the case of the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to submit an application before the District Level Committee/District Magistrate within four weeks from today along with a copy of this order.
In case, such an application is filed by the petitioner, then appropriate decision shall be taken by the District Level Committee expeditiously, preferably within next six weeks after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the parties concerned.
