JUDGMENT / ORDER

HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 15686 OF 2007 DATED 30TH JULY, 2014 BETWEEN Birla Archaelogical & Cultural Research Institute, Hyderabad, rep. By its Secretary ………Petitioner and A.P. Information Commission, HACA Bhavan, Hyderabad, Rep. By its State Information Commissioner, and anr …..Respondents.
HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE S.V.BHATT WRIT PETITION No. 15686 OF 2007 ORDER:
Miss. S.Pranathi, learned Counsel appearing for the Writ Petitioner submits that having regard to few developments that have taken place during the pendency of the Writ Petition, the order impugned in the Writ Petition becomes redundant. The circumstances sated by the learned Counsel on that, the first respondent by order dated 15.06.2007 called upon the petitioner to furnish information as requested by the second respondent herein, and on 15.12.2009 the second respondent communicated letter to the petitioner withdrawing his application for furnishing information. Once the application is withdrawn by the second respondent, this Court need not consider the other legal objection raised against the order impugned in the Writ Petition. On the ground that the second respondent is not pursuing the request for information, the direction issued in the impugned order is set aside.
The Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. Miscellaneous petitions pending consideration, if any, shall stand closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
